Hi there!
I'm Oliver, a 19 year old amateur photographer.
I live in the West Highlands of Scotland and primarily shoot landscape and nature in my local area.
Photography is one of my most passionate hobbies, alongside rock climbing and mountain biking.
I've had an interest in taking photos for as long as I can remember and got my first taste of a DSLR only back in 2021 when I decided to buy a used Nikon D3400 and some kit lenses off of eBay for a couple hundred.
After experiencing the superior picture quality and capturing process I was hooked.
I began taking my camera with me to any interesting places I was going which led to some great picture opportunities and a lot of practice and time to learn and improve.
Eventually, about 1.5 years after purchasing the D3400 I began to feel that this entry level DSLR was starting to hold me back. So I decided to switch brands and upgrade to the Sony a7IV at the end of 2022.
Ever since, my photos haven't stopped improving and the room to further grow that the a7IV has provided is much enjoyed.
Thank you for taking the time to have a look at my website!

This image was from a particularly lovely morning in Fort William that I managed to get on top of Cow Hill in time to capture the sunrise.

You can find the other images from this morning in the Loch Linnhe Sunrise page.
